Buccaneers re-sign receiver Louis Murphy

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed receiver Louis Murphy and waived receiver Chris Owusu.

Murphy spent the offseason and entire preseason with the Bucs before being released the week of the season opener.

The sixth-year pro spent the first three years of his career with the Oakland Raiders after being selected in the fourth round of the 2009 draft. He was traded to Carolina in 2012 and played for the New York Giants last season.

The team also announced Tuesday that linebacker Ka’Lial Glaud, safety Kimario McFadden and defensive end Adrian Robinson were released from the practice squad.
