The Associated Press

In this photo by Eugene Hoshiko, Myanmar’s Phyu Phyu Than kicks the ball as Laos player Koy Xayavong blocks during the women’s doubles sepak takraw final match at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. Myanmar beat Laos 2-0 to win the gold medal. Sepak takraw is a centuries-old sport originating in Asia, and it resembles hands-off volleyball with kicking and martial arts moves. The sport is among several, including bowling, cricket and squash, that are part of the Asian Games competition but not the Olympics.
