Don’t be alarmed by the fleet of high-end cars stacked up on Rosedale Avenue on Saturday.

A local home theater and audio system company is hosting an all-day meet-up of Tesla drivers that will also include free rides in electric vehicles from BMW, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz.

Bethesda Systems (4712 Rosedale Ave.) will put on the event, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., offering free hand car washes, audio system installations, a continental breakfast and sushi, pizza and wine.

Tesla, the electronic car company with a signature model starting at $69,900, is making in-roads in Bethesda with a retail store in Westfield Montgomery Mall and Mobile Supercharging Station that opened at the mall earlier this year.

There will be at least 25 of Tesla’s Model S at the event and, of course, Tesla drivers will be able to charge up. A 30-minute charge at a typical 7kW public charging station provides for about 10 miles of range, according to Tesla.
