Flyers captain Claude Grioux out 2 weeks

VOORHEES, N.J. (AP) — Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux will miss at least two weeks after sustaining a lower-body injury on the first day of training camp.

The Flyers did specify the injury on Friday.

Giroux left the ice only 15 minutes into the first session at camp.

He was selected last season as a Hart Trophy finalist, the league’s MVP award. Giroux matched a career high with 28 goals and finished third in the NHL scoring race with 86 points.
