1 killed, 1 wounded in Baltimore County shooting

CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) — A double-shooting in Baltimore County has left one man dead and injured a second, and two suspects were arrested after fleeing the crime scene.

Baltimore County police say an officer heard gunshots Monday evening in Catonsville. He soon spotted a man running down the street with a gunshot wound to his back.

Police learned that suspects in the shooting were driving a red van and soon after found a red van fleeing on U.S. Route 40.

Police say the van hit a number of vehicles, including police cruisers, before they were able to stop the van and arrest two men inside.

Meanwhile, police found a man dead in a car where the shooting occurred. The man shot in the back is at a local hospital. His condition was unavailable Tuesday.
