Suspect arrested in Baltimore County stabbing

TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County authorities say they have arrested a man suspected of stabbing another man at a bar in Edgemere.

Police have charged 60-year-old Herman Elbert Summers with attempted first-degree murder after he allegedly stabbed another man multiple times after an argument on Thursday night.

Authorities responded to an emergency call to the Sparta Inn on North Point Road just before 10 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his mid- and upper-body.

Police say they found Summers in the parking lot and apprehended him.
