Serious crash in Laurel, Md., sends five to hospital Friday

WASHINGTON –Five people are in the hospital tonight after a serious crash in Lauren, Md.

According to Prince George’s County Police, one of the cars was traveling in the wrong direction on Laurel Bowie Road when it collided at the intersection of Laurel Bowie Road and Contee Road shortly before 10 p.m.

One victim has life threatening injuries, and was flown to a nearby trauma center.

A woman from another car was also flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

Three other victims are being treated at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
