NEW YORK (AP) — The recent revival of “Of Mice and Men” starring James Franco may have closed on Broadway, but you can still catch it on the silver screen.

The play will be screened in more than 700 movie theaters across the United States and Canada on Nov. 6. It is the first American production chosen to be filmed by National Theatre Live.

The play, an adaptation of the John Steinbeck novel, follows two tragic migrant workers trying to make their way through the Depression. It co-starred Chris O’Dowd, Leighton Meester and Jim Norton.

The play, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, recouped its $3.8 million capitalization in just 12 weeks and shattered the house record at the Longacre Theatre.

The broadcast will be distributed via BY Experience and Fathom Events.
