AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A plane has landed safely in Austin, Texas, after losing cabin pressure 20 miles away from the airport.
KVUE-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1tyC57z ) that 76 people were on board a Delta Airlines subsidiary plane that took off from Austin and was headed to Los Angeles.
The plane returned to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
No injuries were immediately reported. Loss of cabin pressure can lead to a decline in available oxygen and can become hazardous to crew and passengers.
