Eagles place Barbre, Goode, Mathis on IR

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Eagles have placed offensive lineman Allen Barbre and linebacker Najee Goode on season-ending injured reserve, and put All-Pro guard Evan Mathis on injured reserve designated for return.

Mathis injured the medial collateral ligament in his left knee in Sunday’s 34-17 win over Jacksonville. He’ll be eligible to practice with the team in six weeks and play in eight weeks.

Barbre injured an ankle, and Goode tore a pectoral muscle.

The Eagles signed 11-year veteran and former Pro Bowl offensive lineman Wade Smith. The team also signed linebacker Emmanuel Acho and tackle Kevin Graf from the practice squad. They added linebacker Brandon Hepburn and offensive lineman Tyler Hoover to the practice squad and released Colton Underwood.
