Houston handles Grambling State 47-0

HOUSTON (AP) — Kenneth Farrow ran for 130 yards and a touchdown to help Houston beat Grambling State 47-0 Saturday night.

Houston jumped on top quickly, with Greg Ward scoring just 48 seconds into it with a 12-yard run — set up by a 55-yard run by Farrow. A pair of Kyle Bullard field goals — of 42 and 38 yards — made it 13-0.

Farrow scored from 2 yards out, Ryan Jackson had a 12-yard run and Ward hauled in a 10-yard scoring strike from John O’Korn as Houston made it 34-0 at intermission. O’Korn went 14 of 25 for 200 yards. Deontay Greenberry had five catches for 110 yards, including a 67-yard reception.

Bullard added two more field goals in the third quarter as Houston built a 40-0 lead.

Cedric Skinner recovered a fumble for a touchdown with 3:30 left to cap the scoring.
