Galindo, UC Davis coast past Fort Lewis 52-17

DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — Corey Galindo had three touchdown receptions and Jermale Jefferson rushed for two scores as UC Davis rolled past Division-II Fort Lewis 52-17 on Saturday night.

London Lacy threw two first-half scores to Galindo and Jefferson had a 44-yard touchdown in between to give the Aggies (1-1) a 24-3 halftime lead.

Colton Silveria and Jefferson each broke away for long touchdown runs of 72 yards and 68 on the first play of two drives in the third quarter. Galindo’s third TD catch made the score 45-3.

Jefferson ran for 123 yards on just five carries. Silveria had 93 yards rushing and Galindo finished with six receptions for 134 yards.

Jordan Doyle was 27 of 45 for 216 yards with three interceptions for the Skyhawks. He ran for a score and threw a late touchdown to Andrew Johnson, who had 97 yards receiving.
