Barnes scores twice; Houston beats Montreal 3-2

HOUSTON (AP) — Giles Barnes scored two goals to lead the Houston Dynamo to a 3-2 comeback win over the Montreal Impact on Saturday night.

Barnes started the scoring in the 30th minute for Houston (9-13-4). He capitalized on a defensive mistake, dribbled down the field on a breakaway and rolled one past goalkeeper Evan Bush.

Montreal’s Dilly Duka tied it in the 40th minute. A series of cleaver passes set up Duka’s rolling finish from the top of the box. In the 55th minute, Ignacio Piatti’s fast-break goal put Montreal (5-16-5) in front 2-1.

Houston responded with two goals in 3 minutes. Barnes redirected Omar Cummings’ cross in the 62nd minute, and Ricardo Clark cleaned up Brad Davis’ corner kick at the far post in the 65th.
