US women’s soccer team to face Trinidad & Tobago

CHICAGO (AP) — The U.S. women’s national team will face Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala and Haiti in first-round play in the CONCACAF Championship.

In the draw held Friday in Miami, the U.S. was selected for Group A. Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica and Martinique are in Group A.

The U.S. team will open Oct. 15 in Kansas City, Kansas, against Trinidad & Tobago.

The Americans will face Guatemala on Oct. 17 in Bridgeview, Illinois, and finish the first round against Haiti on Oct. 20 in Washington, D.C.
