Senior alert issued for missing Alexandria woman

WASHINGTON — The Virginia State Police have issued a senior alert for a woman missing from Fairfax County.

Barbara Bracey Wiggs, 73, was last seen on Sept. 5 at a home on the 8900 block of Linton Lane in Alexandria, Virginia.

Wiggs, who is described as black, about 5-foot-1, 95 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and an orange outer shirt.

According to a Virginia State Police news release, Wiggs suffers from cognitive impairment and is in danger.

She may respond to her name, but is unlikely to know her address, police say.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to call Fairfax County police at 703-877-3877.
