NEW KENT, Va. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a missing boater in New Kent County.

Police tell media outlets that witnesses reported seeing the man jump into the Pamunkey River after his boat stalled. Witnesses said the man tried to swim to the shore. But he went under water and didn’t resurface.
