Md. man charged with trying to kill stepson

CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) — A Catonsville man has been charged with trying to kill his stepson.

WBAL Radio (http://bit.ly/1pKKZjz ) reports Baltimore County police say 62-year-old John Smith argued with the victim. Authorities say he followed him outside their home Tuesday evening and stabbed him once.

The stepson was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police arrested Smith at the scene.

He’s charged with attempted first- degree murder and is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
