Police investigating Oxon Hill homicide

UPDATE 10:15 p.m. 8/24/2014: The Prince George’s County Police have charged Antjuon Riddick, of Wilson Bridge Drive, in Oxon Hill, with first-degree murder. They’re still looking for him; if you know where he can be found, the po,lice ask you to call 866-411-TIPS or 301-772-4925.

EARLIER: UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating a murder in Oxon Hill, and investigators don’t believe it was a random crime.

Police say they were called late Saturday to the 5000 block of Glassmanor Drive for a report of a shooting. Police say when they arrived the found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified him as 36-year-old Kenneth Antoine Jones of Washington. Police did not say what they believe led to the shooting or why they don’t believe it was random.
