Wayne will make preseason debut against Saints

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Colts receiver Reggie Wayne will make his preseason debut Saturday night against New Orleans.

The six-time Pro Bowler has not played since tearing the ACL in his right knee in mid-October against Denver. He had made it clear he wanted to see some action before the season-opener Sept. 7 against the Broncos.

Wayne is still likely to see very limited action against New Orleans, his hometown team.

Wayne received a loud ovation from Colts fans when he was the last of the starters to be introduced

The 35-year-old Wayne said earlier this week that he felt as good as ever and has been lobbying to do more work since the Colts reported to training camp last month.
