WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro says riders on the red and orange lines will wait longer for trains this weekend.

Metro says beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through system closing on Sunday, red and orange lines will operate every 20 minutes. Metro says there will be additional red line trains between Grosvenor and NoMa-Gallaudet during daytime hours. Metro says that between those stations trains will run every 10 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Metro says there will be regular weekend service on the silver, blue, yellow and green lines.
