James Martin suspended 2 years for missing test

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — American cyclist James Martin has been suspended for two years by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for missing a test earlier this year.

The 40-year-old resident of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was punished for the rules violation committed when he failed to provide testing sample at the New Jersey Criterium Championships on May 18.

The two-year ban announced Tuesday began Aug. 15, when it was imposed. Martin has also be disqualified from all races after May 18, including the loss of any medals, points and prizes.
