Mayor to cut ribbon on rehabbed apartment complex

BALTIMORE (AP) — Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is set to cut the ribbon on a new affordable housing complex in northwest Baltimore.

The apartment complex was previously a blighted property known as Garrison Woods. The buildings have been rehabilitated and renamed Pangea Oaks Apartments. The mayor’s office says they will offer affordable housing opportunities for families.

Rawlings-Blake will join Housing Commissioner Paul Graziano, community leaders and residents at Monday’s ribbon-cutting.
