Autopsy: Man found dead in drainage pipe drowned

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say a man who was found dead in a drainage pipe in Westminster drowned.

Spokesman Greg Shipley tells The Carroll County Times (http://bit.ly/1ySQM7c) that an autopsy showed that 54-year-old Robert L. Hawk of Sykesville suffered from acute alcohol intoxication when he died.

Hawk’s body was found July 3 in a storm drain by a business owner mowing his lawn.
