White Sox’s De Aza out of lineup against Rangers

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza was scratched from the lineup against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night because of a bruised left knee.

De Aza had been expected to play before he complained of soreness in the pregame warmup. His status was listed day to day.

De Aza sustained the injury when he fouled a ball off the knee in the sixth inning of a 5-3 victory over the Rangers on Monday. He was removed from the game after the inning.

Moises Sierra took his place in the lineup and played right field, while Dayan Viciedo moved from right field to left field.
