Texas man faces child porn charges after Google cyber-tip

WASHINGTON — A Texas man is facing child pornography charges after Google detected suspicious content in his email and turned it over to authorities.

KHOU Texas reports that Denny’s employee John Henry Skillern, 41, was arrested last week after Google found explicit images of a girl in his email.

“He was trying to get around getting caught, he was trying to keep it inside his email,” Detective David Nettles of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce told KHOU.

Skillern is also a registered sex offender, KHOU reports. He is currently being held on $200,000 bond and was charged with two counts related to child pornography.
