Area restaurants taking part in Washington restaurant week

Jaleo Bethesda, via Amy Marie Moore (file phot0)There won’t be a Bethesda-Chevy Chase Restaurant Week this year, so some local eateries made sure to take part in this year’s Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week put on by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington.

The event includes more than 200 restaurants offering $20.14 lunch and $35.14 dinner price- fixed menus starting Monday, Aug. 11 until Sunday, Aug. 17.

Jaleo (7271 Woodmont Ave.), LIA’s (4435 Willard Ave.), Redwood (7121 Bethesda Lane), Sushi Ko (5455 Wisconsin Ave.) and Grapeseed (4865 Cordell Ave.) will all offer lunch and dinner. Ruth’s Chris Steak House (7315 Wisconsin Ave.) is offering dinner only.

Aggio and Range, two restaurants from celebrity chef Bryan Voltaggio just across the District line in Friendship Heights, will also take part.
