Dave & Busters will have to leave Rockville mall

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — A federal judge has ordered the restaurant and arcade Dave & Buster’s to leave its location at the White Flint Mall in Rockville.

Television station WJLA-TV (http://wj.la/1AhYivT ) reports that in a two-page ruling this week a federal judge in Maryland said Dave & Buster’s will have to leave in 30 days. Dave & Buster’s Inc. had sued to try to avoid eviction.

The judge ruled Dave & Buster’s had violated a geographical clause in the lease when it opened another location at the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover.

The mall’s owner, Lerner Enterprises, wants to demolish White Flint. Another mall tenant, Lord & Taylor, is also fighting eviction.
