Police: Woman evicted from Md. home runs over man

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County Police say a woman being evicted from a Glen Burnie home ran over a man’s leg twice and hit a county sheriff’s deputy with her car.

Authorities say 25-year-old Kalli Colleen Kassab became disorderly after she was asked to leave a Glen Burnie residence on Thursday. Officers say Kassab spit on one of the property employees, got into her car and backed it into the employee, running over the man’s leg. Police say Kassab then put the car in drive, running over the man’s leg again.

Police say Kassab then tried to flee, and in the process hit a deputy’s gun belt with the driver’s side mirror.

Kassab was arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter, assault and traffic offenses.
