Disabled Chihuahua given walking harness [Photos]

WASHINGTON — A Chihuahua with a very noticeable defect has a new set of wheels.

According to Today.com, an Indianapolis veterinarian, Amy Birk, was about to leave for the day when a couple came in with a dog wrapped in a towel.

According to the report, the couple told Birk that their Chihuahua gave birth to a litter of puppies, one of which was born without front legs and couldn’t get any food. At four weeks, the story said, the dog – named Turbo – was just 10 ounces.

From there, the clinic created a walking harness for Turbo out of a toy welding kit and Fisher-Price toy helicopter. Now, Turbo has a makeshift cart.
