Wake Forest adds Greek forward Mitoglou to roster

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Wake Forest has added Greek forward Konstantinos Mitoglou to its basketball roster.

Coach Danny Manning announced Mitoglou’s addition Tuesday and called him “a skilled big man who is just scratching the surface of his potential.”

The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Mitoglou averaged 5.8 points and 7.0 rebounds for Greece in the 2013 under-18 European championship. Wake Forest says he chose the Demon Deacons over Temple and Old Dominion.

He’s the third member of Manning’s first freshman class at Wake Forest, joining guards Mitchell Wilbekin and Rondale Watson.
