RADFORD, Va. (AP) — Radford police are investigating the death of a Pulaski man whose body was found in the New River.
Police identified the victim as 41-year-old Kelly Floyd Marshall.
Police tell media outlets that Marshall’s body was found Sunday evening west of a train trestle that crosses the river near Bisset Park.
Witnesses told police that the man was trying to walk across the river when he went under the water.
The body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office in Roanoke.
