Weird Al Yankovic is back and ‘Tacky’ (Video)

WASHINGTON — The king of parody is back.

Weird Al Yankovic has a new album, “Mandatory Fun,” his first in three years. It features parodies of pop’s biggest names, including Miley Cyrus, Lorde, and Iggy Azalea.

But the first single, released exclusively by Nerdist, is a very special tribute to Pharrell and his big hit, “Happy,” that features several familiar faces and some very tacky outfits.

Watch it below:

A second single was released Tuesday. It seems that Yankovic has a new song coming out each day for the next week on his website.

“Word Crimes” plays off Robin Thicke’s 2013 pop sensation, “Blurred Lines.”
