LA Galaxy terminates loan deal with Samuel

CARSON, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Galaxy have terminated their loan agreement with Brazilian forward Samuel, who will be returning to Fluminense of Brazil’s Serie A.

The 23-year-old striker joined the Major League Soccer team in January after spending the previous two seasons with Fluminense.

Samuel started four of the eight regular-season games he appeared in for the Galaxy.

He also played in two CONCACAF Champions League games, scoring the goal that sealed the Galaxy’s 1-0 victory in the quarterfinal first leg against Club Tijuana.
