Fluvanna police ID body found in burning car

PALMYRA, Va. (AP) — Police have identified a body found in a burning car in Fluvanna County.

The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office tells media outlets that firefighters found the body of 34-year-old Brandon Chad Bruce of Palmyra while extinguishing the fire last Thursday.

The sheriff’s office say Bruce lived at the residence where the car was located.

The investigation is continuing.
