Correction: Girl Killed-Stray Bullet story

PATERSON, N.J. (AP) — In a story July 6 about the shooting of 12-year-old Genesis Rincon in northern New Jersey, The Associated Press, relying on information from the Paterson Police Department, reported erroneously on her condition. Police initially said the day after Saturday’s shooting that she had been killed, but a family spokeswoman said Rincon was removed from life support Monday night.
