Piazza Beer Garden (7401 Woodmont Ave.) is turning up the intensity for the last week of the World Cup.

The outdoor beer garden part of Cesco Osteria will be showing Tuesday’s 4 p.m. semifinal match between Germany and Brazil. In honor of Germany, the restaurant is offering free homemade soft pretzels to anybody who buys a beer or caipirinha (Brazil’s national cocktail) during the game.

On Saturday, Piazza will also host the “World Cup of Beer Pong Tournament,” with participants able to pick which nation they’d like to represent.

The top 16 teams will play again Sunday as Piazza airs the World Cup final on its 10-foot screen. Top prize is a $100 gift certificate and a large trophy beer mug for each member of the winning team.
