LONDON (AP) — American players will make up three of the four semifinalists in the boys’ junior championship at Wimbledon.

Noah Rubin defeated Tim Van Rijthoven of the Netherlands 7-6 (8), 7-6 (7) in the quarterfinals Friday. He’ll play fellow American Taylor Harry Fritz in one semifinal after Fritz beat Filippo Baldi of Italy 7-5, 6-7 (5), 7-5.

Stefan Kozlov of the U.S. beat No. 2-seeded Chung Hye-on of South Korea 6-4, 7-6 (6) and will play Johan Sebastien Tatlot of France in the other semifinal. Tatlot beat Joshua Sapwell of Britain 7-6 (5), 6-1.

Rubin says “It’s a great experience to be here … I’m into the Wimbledon semifinals, not too many people have the opportunity to say it.”

Americans Tornado Alicia Black and Michaela Gordon lost their quarterfinal matches Friday.
