When Fuel Pizza announced the first location for its rapid-fire pizza concept last August, it said it expected to expand Custom Fuel — as it’s known — across the Washington area. A year later, it’s making good on the promise.

After getting three eateries up and running, Custom Fuel now is scouting future locations in Arlington (including The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City), Alexandria, Bethesda, downtown D.C. and Silver Spring, The Washington Post reported. Custom Fuel is also exploring sites at airports in our area as well as Union Station.

Custom Fuel specializes in customized, personal-sized pizzas prepared in about 2 minutes.
