Voice-recognizing ‘Dom’ will now take your Domino’s smartphone app order

Siri can tell you the weather. Now, “Dom” can order you a pizza.

Domino’s has added a voice-enabled virtual assistant named Dom to its Smartphone app, Mashable reported. You tell Dom what you want and he orders it up. Dom can also answer questions about the menu and, one presumes, steer you toward specials.

Dom came into being with the help of Nuance, the company which brought the virtual personal assistant Nina to life.

Dom is available in both the iOS and Android versions of Domino’s smartphone app.
