Reddick leaves A’s game with strained right knee

MIAMI (AP) — Oakland Athletics right fielder Josh Reddick is sidelined again by a sore right knee.

Reddick left Saturday’s game at Miami in the fourth inning after he re-aggravated the injury, and he’s scheduled to have an MRI exam Sunday.

Reddick, who is batting .229, spent more than three weeks on the disabled list early this month and was activated Tuesday. He said his knee and swing had both felt better the past few days, which left him shaking his head about the latest setback.

“It’s very frustrating,” he said. “It’s just a huge letdown after starting off so slow early in the year.”
