Md. man dead after motorcycle crash in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Police in Anne Arundel County say a motorcyclist is dead after he lost control of his vehicle after striking a curb.

Police say the crash happened early Saturday on Green Holly Drive near Ramblewood Drive in Annapolis. Police say 54-year-old Forrest Andrew Williams of Annapolis was traveling south on Green Holly Drive when he struck the curb surrounding a center median.

Police say Williams then lost control of his motorcycle. Police say Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
