Volvo Trucks plans $69m investment in Dublin plant

DUBLIN, Va. (AP) — Volvo Trucks North America says it will invest $69 million in improvements at its New River Valley plant in Dublin.

Improvements announced Thursday include upgrades to the truck assembly plant’s paint facility and a redesign of various work areas. New racking and storage systems, docks and lifting devices also are planned.

The company says in a news release that the enhancements will improve manufacturing efficiency and vehicle quality.
