Marlins SS scratched with right elbow soreness

MIAMI (AP) — Marlins shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria has been scratched from the starting lineup in Saturday’s game against the New York Mets due to soreness in his elbow.

He was replaced by Ed Lucas about 90 minutes before the start of the game and is considered day-to-day. Hechavarria, who is hitting .394 on the Marlins current homestand, has a .272 batting average with 17 RBIs in 72 games.
