BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (AP) — The Delaware State Police says one person is dead and four others injured after a car crash east of Bridgeville.

Troopers say it happened Saturday on Seashore Highway just east of Oak Road. Troopers say the driver of a Dodge Durango was driving westbound when he crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a pick-up truck.

Troopers identified the Durango’s driver as 18-year-old Justin Fuller of Mt. Airy, Md. Troopers say Fuller and a 17-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital and were treated and released with minor injuries. Another passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.

The driver of the pick-up truck, who troopers identified as 49-year-old Frank R. Tallent of Georgetown, has been hospitalized in critical condition. His wife, 53-year-old Carolyn Tallent, was pronounced dead at the scene.
