ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Council President Craig Rice is holding a news conference to discuss the county budget.

The event is scheduled for Monday in Rockville.

Rice will be discussion the impact of the county’s fiscal year 2015 budget. It goes into effect July 1.

He also is scheduled to talk about his goals for the second half of his term as council president.
