Luxury Boutique To Replace Bethesda Row Dunkin’ Donuts

Calypso St. Barth moving in to 4810 Bethesda Ave.The Bethesda Avenue Dunkin’ Donuts has moved out and in its place will be luxury clothing boutique Calypso St. Barth.

The store launched in 1992 as a resort-wear shop and has spread to about 50 locations nationwide. It still offers beach gear (check out the $350 beach blankets) but the upscale boutique also carries shoes, accessories, more clothes, perfumes and home decor.

The Dunkin’ Donuts franchise (4810 Bethesda Ave.) posted signs saying it’s moving to Elm Street and has been rumored to be looking at the space of the Galaxie Cleaners at 4943 Elm St., though the franchise owner couldn’t confirm it.

Federal Realty declined to renew Dunkin’ Donuts’ lease for the space.
