12 teens charged after prank at Va. high school

HENRICO, Va. (AP) — A dozen teenagers face vandalism and trespassing charges following a prank at a Henrico County high school.

Media outlets report that officials at Varina High School found chocolate sauce, syrup, rice, flour and eggs covering parts of the campus last week. Trash cans were emptied and placed on the roofs of several buildings. The suspects also wrote on doors and walls with a marker.

Three of the suspects are juveniles. The others are adults.

The vandalism caused more than $1,000 in damage.
