Woman charged with fatally shooting boyfriend

EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) — The Harford County Sheriff’s Office says a woman has been charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend in their home in Edgewood.

Deputies say 35-year-old Tanasha Siena called 911 about 8 p.m. Monday and told dispatchers that she had shot her boyfriend.

Police say deputies found 37-year-old George S. Moore in a second floor bedroom with gunshot wounds to the head and upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say Siena told 911 dispatchers that she shot Moore after Moore assaulted her during an altercation. She was treated and released at a local hospital.

Siena is charged with first- and second-degree murder and is being held without bail.
