Screen on the Green announces lineup

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Screen on the Green summer movie series has announced the four movies it will show this summer on the National Mall.

The free outdoor movie festival said Monday it will begin its series with “The Karate Kid” on July 21. That’s followed by “Lover Come Back” on July 28, “Key Largo” on Aug. 4 and “A Soldier’s Story” on Aug. 11.

This is the 16th year of the series.

The screen for the movies is set up on the National Mall between 7th and 12th streets.
