Police: Bank robber siblings held up gas station

WASHINGTON (AP) — Police say four siblings arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Washington are also responsible for holding up a gas station in Silver Spring the day before.

Police say the group robbed an Exxon gas station on Colesville Road in Maryland on May 14. Then, on May 15, they allegedly robbed the Colombo Bank in the 1300 block of 9th Street NW.

Police say items used in the Exxon robbery were recovered after a search warrant. Police identified the siblings as: 20-year-old Allante Alexander, 25-year-old Allesha Alexander, 20-year-old Alex Alexander and 24-year-old Alvin Alexander III.

Attorneys for all four suspects declined to comment.
